Michael Jackson; devil? Nope, but not a God either.

I don’t want to speak evil of anyone; it’s not my job, unless, wait, am I now considered part of the media, cause I blog? No? Oh, okay, well then, like I said it’s not my job to speak evil of someone because they are a celebrity.

But I do have a problem with what looks like the deification of Michael Jackson, just because he is dead. This was a man mocked, ridiculed and accused of heinous crimes. I don’t want to rake him over the coals again, but the derision crowd is all crazy for making Michael into a cash God now that's he's dead.

Being an advocate for kids, I despise the thought of them being hurt, and it could make me hate Mr. Jackson for the evil he’s been accused of. But I remember the boy I watched, and loved on The Flip Wilson Show, with the Jackson 5, and I wonder about the life that made a man act the way he did. I guess I end up thinking I might have been as bad or worse, given his circumstances.

Let’s not praise Caesar, let’s just bury him.
