Easy way to make a difference
From a great missionary with a vision for Portugal, wo needs our help:
Finally, I would like to make all of you aware of a different yet efficient way to help support Mission Portugal - it is through an energy company called Viridian.
You may or may not be aware that the energy industry has been deregulated and state utilities are now required by law to let other energy suppliers use their infrastructure to supply energy to consumers and businesses at a discount to what the utility would pay. At the same time, the main utility continues to service any problems and do the billing, so any concerns about power outages, etc are still taken care of. Numerous large users of power typically use other energy suppliers because of the savings available.
The beauty of Viridian's program is not only do they offer savings(about 15% in CT) but they have a fundraising program that sends a residual commission to a referrring part every month. So here's the deal: if you were to switch to Viridian through my Associate #, either online or by phone, Viridian would send me $2-$3 every month that you pay your bill!!
That may not sound like much, but if you see yourself as part of the Corporate entity that are joning together for this, your participation WILL make a difference.
AND Viridian is offering an additional 10% discount for the first month for customers that sign up by 12/31!! So you're looking at somewhere near a 25% discount for your first bill.
This could truly be a great help towards my financial support, so please consider doing this. At present, about 10 households have done so with others genuinely thinking it over.
